A North Perth man facing charges of trafficking after police reportedly seized more than $ 200,000 in drugs in Listowel, and the Minto case appeared before a Stratford judge on Monday for the first time since his arrest in August.
Brennan asked for two weeks to get an initial - "and important," he said - disclosure package for accused Aaron Walsh (33) and defense attorney Nicholas Wansbutter.
Less than a week ago, the Perth County OPP said they had arrested another case. Melissa Luu-Tran, 32, of North York, was arrested and charged with trafficking in human beings, police said.
According to police, on August 28, a "large amount" of honey and cash were confiscated from a vehicle in Minto, and the following day he executed search warrants at Listowel and Minto addresses. Police said they found $ 218,000 in meth and psilocybin and $ 49,000 in crime-related property at the two locations. Approximately $ 71,000 in crime-related property was seized during the arrest, police said.
