Cross-country skiing | Visma: the first “Challengers” races
Launched last April, the Challengers circuit of the Visma Ski Classics is slowly setting up. These Challengers races open to all already offer several starts.
The first of them will be on roller skis. It's the Alliansloppet on August 17th. It is the largest ski-wheel event in the world. Last year, 1,300 enthusiasts traveled there. This 48-kilometer race around Trollhättan, Sweden, is used to prepare athletes for the World Cup and the Visma Ski Classics.
The second summer meeting will be held in the same country, but this time around Karlstad. It is the Klarälvsloppet, the longest Swedish rollerblade race with a 90 kilometer course (September 22).
These different races are associated with the Visma Ski Classics always with the aim of promoting long-distance skiing and its practice all year round.
After the announcement of the first rollerski events of the Challengers circuit created by the Visma Ski Classics, it is the turn of the first snow ski races to be unveiled.
Regarding Russia, this is the classic Novosibirsk marathon. & Nbsp; Two 30 km loops are on the program. The course will not offer any major difficulties, in favor of a fast track is fairly flat.
