Thursday night, to Wagner's music, at the Thalia Hall

If you like Richard Wagner, you are expected to perform at the Thalia Hall on Thursday, October 24, at 7 p.m. Two artists appreciated for Wagnerian performance will come to Sibiu to perform with the Symphony Orchestra of the Sibiu State Philharmonic, respectively soprano Lubov Stuchevskaja and conductor Matthias Fletzberger.

According to the organizers, essential sequences from Richard Wagner's creation such as the Prelude and Death of Isolde from the opera "Tristan and Isolde" or Ride of the Valkyries from "Die Walküre" will complete the concert program scheduled for Thursday.

A musical cartoon with elements that formed the basis of Marvell's graphic designs will be presented at the Thalia Hall, during the concert.

“Richard Wagner's tetralogy follows the adventures of gods, giants, gnomes and humans, who struggle with greed and betrayal to reach a redemptive end. "Tristan and Isolde" is the deepest work of Richard Wagner, the creation that forced musicians to make music volumes, shook the "terrible forbidden" conception of classical sound art, and last but not least, inspired John Williams when wrote music for Star Wars. The aesthetics of the work "Tristan and Isolde" triggered multiple and stormy discussions. The influence of the philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer is obvious, the author of the ample work in which the world is highlighted, in an idealistic sense, as a representation of the will. The pessimistic concept is obvious ", says Adina Zaharia-Dombi, artistic consultant at the Sibiu State Philharmonic.
